“Through the Mixed Expression Masterclass, my colleagues and I had the opportunity to explore what it means to identify with a mixed heritage and how to feel empowered in this uniqueness. The virtual format worked extremely well for our group of 15 participants and created a space for learning and sharing. Jazmine and Meagan were fantastic facilitators who truly come from a place of understanding and knowledge." -Davinia Troughton Associate Director at Northwestern University
"We invited Jazmine and Meagan to run their Intro to Mixed Identity Workshop for our employee resource group of mixed individuals at our company, and it was FANTASTIC! The workshop was attended by mixed individuals and parents of mixed children, and our colleagues absolutely loved it. Colleagues were messaging us after the workshop, about how much they enjoyed it and when they could get the recording! Jazmine and Meagan brought energy, humor, empathy, and insight to create a meaningful and engaging experience. The workshop was comprehensive and holistic, packing a lot of valuable information into one hour. They set a relaxed yet professional tone, perfect for our corporate setting - our colleagues were able to open up and connect with each other in a safe space. Meagan and Jazmine are amazing at what they do—hire them!" -Nicole Carter Manager at Google
"I cannot thank you enough for coming to UCSB and speaking to our students. Not only was this healing space for our students, but it was truly healing for me. The workshop was validating and laid the groundwork for students to continue on their mixed healing journey with thought and intention. The experiences of mixed identities are often erased or overlooked, so highlighting these voices fostered a greater sense of belonging and self-acceptance. It was beautiful to see the continuous nods of agreement and eyes light up when students resonated with your personal anecdotes. You have truly made an impact here on our campus!" - Julianna Swilley, M.Ed Coordinator of Black Student Life at UCSB
As a mixed person, this was the perfect workshop to bring to my company to not only share my experiences with non-mixed people, but also to create a sense of community for the mixed folks within the company. - Mikaela Cohen HR Strategy Reporter at Morning Brew Inc.
