“Jazmine and Meagan were absolutely amazing! They provided me with helpful tools to help continue my self-identity & discovery work. I enjoyed being able to get tips, writing prompts, insights, and words of wisdom throughout the program. I was impressed with the delicacy and professionalism that both Jazmine and Meagan exhibited throughout the duration of the program, especially since we sometimes discussed heavy topics. I also really enjoyed meeting & connecting with the other participants in the program – learning from everyone’s experiences allowed me to feel a sense of belonging to this mixed community. One of my favorite parts of the program was the helpful prompts & weekly journaling. Overall, I’m so happy I decided to take this course for myself and I highly recommend participating in any of Jazmine & Meagan’s future programs/curriculum.”

“These women are the real deal. This program was incredibly thorough, holistic, multi-dimensional, and covered challenging topics with empathetic support. I’ve struggled in a multiracial family with opposing identity perspectives, and I’ve felt pressured and isolated for years. I’ve also felt pressured and isolated by society. In the program, I felt heard and validated for the first time, by women who get it! And their empathy isn’t limited to black-white identity issues, either. 10/10. Thank you so much!! I’m honored and thrilled to participate in this amazing community.”

-Samantha Gay

“My experience in this workshop has been an unexpected but incredibly powerful opportunity that I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of. This workshop empowered, educated and helped me start to heal. Not only have I connected with a group of people who share many similar experiences as I do being multi-racial, but I have felt incredibly supported and cared for when navigating difficult topics such as racial privilege, pain from feeling "not enough", racism, and feeling judged by seemingly everyone. In particular, I benefited most from having separate classes regarding pain and privilege, and learning that one has the choice to separate these when connecting with one's mixed identity. This is because it helped to create emotional clarity and foster self awareness and love in both of these complex realms. Jazmine and Meagan are extremely compassionate, intelligent, innovative and powerful women who are creating a mixed community space for those of us who have otherwise felt isolated, alone, and left out of the conversation in America. I look forward to continuing to see the work they do and for the good medicine they have to give.”

“My whole life, I was slowly giving up on ever having racial community. I couldn’t see myself clearly. Talking to Jazmine and Meagan really was a game changer for me because they made me realize tat I do have a community and that I am not alone. I cannot describe the relief I felt after the session that I finally understood being mixed as an identity that many people share, not something that solely isolates. I felt deep sadness as well that I grew up not seeing that. But that’s why talking to Jazmine and Meagan was so important for me. They showed me that there are things we’ve been taught as mixed people that we never chose for ourselves. But they also showed me that I have the tools to make a difference in my own perception of myself and healing in a large community, for our futures.”

-Anna Windmuller

“As a mixed woman of color, I am eternally grateful for my work with both Jazmine and Meagan through my month long personalized work and the workshop. The conversation of belongingness connected to my identity has been something I’ve been unpacking for a long time, but I have felt pretty alone in my discoveries- getting inspiration from folks of various identities has been helpful, but I quickly realized the mixed experience is super unique that needs dedicated attention and intentionality. The moments of feeling seen and understood were too many to count with Jazmine and Meagan. I'm not sure the friction and complications I feel in being mixed will ever go away, but having the language and community brings me confidence and strength in ways I haven’t truly experienced before. If these are questions you are beginning to have, I couldn’t recommend working with these two more.”
