Embodiment as a mixed, multiracial person can include painful feelings of isolation, fragmentation, of being an outsider, of not being enough or being too much.
In the messy navigation of liminal spaces, how can we attune to and support our unique nervous systems with somatic tools? How can we take care of ourselves to embody our inherent belonging and worth?
We deserve to bring our vast gifts to the world from our beautiful, whole, mixed selves.
Let’s slow down. Effort less. Feel more ease. Together.
By the end of the workshop, you will:
Practice noticing your stress states and learn somatic tools for self-regulation from the Resilience Toolkit
Be inspired by mixed perspectives from creatives, writers, scholars and thought leaders
Practice co-regulation, being in connection to community from a place of inherent belonging
All of our nervous systems are unique. Our capacity may change from day to day, or year to year. We deserve support adapted to meet us in the moment we are in. We can feel more connected. When we feel a sense of safety, we can co-regulate.
